The organization aims to carry out four online backgammon tournaments per year, attracting some of the best players in the world, awarding prizes of 100.000€.
The first event of the European Series of Backgammon will have a total of 70 participants, and the entry fee will be 220 Euros. However, players will also be able to classify online for only 2, 20 Euros. This initiative will be related to a great number of backgammon tournaments including the Zakynthos Backgammon Festival in Greece in order to establish an annual backgammon tour.
The first event of this new series will be the eleventh edition in backgammon circuits, where you can also access all the relevant information regarding the Bridge Tournament in London to take place next month, a few weeks after the Scottish Open Tournament in Scotland and the Open Tournament in London at the end of May.
