Old Slot Machines Museum
Vast collection of ancient gambling items
The Nevada Gambling Museum holds the most interesting and rare gambling equipment you have ever come across. Angelo Petrini has made the biggest contribution to the museum, picking out slot machines from his personal collection and donating them to the museum which has been collecting old slot machines and gambling things for a long time.
Petrini, the owner of the Delta Saloon has been fascinated for some time with slot machines, gambling, and its origins. The exceptional collection has some of the strangest games ever, such as an original faro table (faro is a game of cards in which players place bets on a special board) and an abacus to keep the score.
Although there are many unusual gambling items all around the museum, what attracts people the most is the collection of slot machines. There are over 100 antique slot machines in a room which are absolutely breathtaking. When slot machines were first made, in the late 30’s, they were not only part of an entertainment but also they were pieces of art.
If you look around well the museum, you will also find a section where ways of cheating the games are on display. It is incredible to learn about the different ways that people came up with to cheat slot machines or even table games, and some of them are indeed very creative. Whether you’re interested in seeing the origins of gambling or simply just wondering what old slot machines look like, the museum is a place that you will find very entertaining.
